  • Maremma, a dream come true.
Here, on the first hills close to the sea, from which the view is lost as far as Elba Island and Capraia, stands Suvereto, an ancient medieval village in which the 16th-century Aldobrandeschi fortress towers. On the hills in front of it stretches Suvereto's "Col di Noccioli" estate, 55 hectares of land with a very strong wine and olive growing vocation.
  • This is where Sassirto was born, made from Sangiovese grapes with the addition of a small amount of Canaiolo.
The stony, bristly soils and hot, dry climate mitigated by sea breezes give the Sangiovese elegance and ripe tannins. Aging in French oak barrels for 12 months and in bottles for 6 completes the essence.
