Il Gruccione
Gruccione is the wine that best represents the essence of our winery and our way of understanding Lugana starting from the inescapable combination of soil and vine.
It is made from pure Turbiana grapes carefully selected in the vineyard, harvested strictly by hand and crushed whole.
The yield per hectare does not exceed 9 tons and the use of only must flower gives it elegance and strong typicity along with the ability to last over the years.
The nose expresses fine and elegant citrus and ripe fruit notes, hints of thyme and sage complete the bouquet. The palate gives an exuberant savoriness resting on an important but balanced acid shoulder.
Almond notes and spicy hints on the finish complete its character.
