“The bee-eater is a bird with multi-coloured plumage, which winters in North Africa. Every summer when it returns, it fills the skies above my farms with colour. As it feeds off some of the insects that could harm the vines, I have decided to dedicate my Lugana Superiore to this bird.”

Passion for the land, the desire for a challenge, in order to grow further. The determination to work hard, in the vineyards and in the winery. The desire to produce wines that are seen as an integral expression of the relationship between meditation and hard work.
I am sure that this land of Lugana is the perfect place to produce great wines that can meet the new sophisticated needs of consumers. I am convinced that this native grape variety - the Lugana Trebbiano - on this land, and in particular in this vintage, has a deep-rooted connection with its surroundings. When you add to this the passion for my own work, it cannot fail to bring great results. Taken from an interview given by Nunzio Ghiraldi to Marco Tibaldi for “Ex Vinis di Veronelli” no. 6 – 2002
